Newman Wine & Spirits was
founded by Jonathan Newman, former Chairman of the Pennsylvania Liquor
Control Board. Named Wine Enthusiast's Man of the Year in 2003, recipient
of the American Wine Society Award of Merit and Market Watch Leader
in 2005, Jonathan developed the extremely successful Chairman's Selection
program for the state. Mr. Newman has since left the PLCB and has began
his own business bringing only in excellent wine from established wineries.
We taste everything we buy, and we reject any wines we don't like, as
well as any wines that would be difficult to sell because of negative
reviews in prominent publications. There's so much great wine in the
world that the deals keep coming, from top wineries in California, France,
Australia, Italy, Chile and Argentina. We choose only the best, and
we pounce on it when we find it.

ripe blackberries, dark chocolate, spice and jam-like fruit

TASTING
NOTES:
An intriguing nose of pear, apple and
a touch of honeysuckle. Nice crisp fruit in-cluding tangelos,
pineapple and apricot, with hints of Meyer lemon and tropical
fruit on the finish. It will pair nicely with raw and cooked
shellfish, and white fish dishes like Tilapia, Flounder and
Mahi-mahi. Only 800 cases produced.

Bright aromas of strawberries, Bing cherry
and red plum. Well structured, with a silky, lush mouth feel,
and flavors of raspberry, pomegranate, cherry and cinnamon.
Aged in French oak for ten months and nicely integrated with
a very pleasant finish. This is a small production 100% Pinot
Noir that was all grown in the pres-tigious Russian River Valley.
Will pair nicely with duck, pork and salmon.
